Roberta Lynn Bratcher, a resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas, departed this life, Saturday, April 21, 2012, in Jonesboro. She was born on, May 28, 1956, in Wynne, Arkansas, the daughter of Lester and Francis Ester (James) Powell. She married Mr. Boyce Wayne Bratcher, Sr. on April 26, 1980.
Mrs. Bratcher was of the Baptist faith, attended Cross County High School and worked at Wolverine factory. She enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, collecting knick knacks, crosses and Avon. Lynn did wood paintings played video games with her grandchildren, she never missed a practice or game that they played in. Lynn had a love for everything and everyone; her grandchildren were very special to her. Nothing meant more to her than her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father: Lester, infant son: Gary Beggs, one brother: Sammy Powell.
Lynn is survived by her Husband of thirty-one years: Boyce Bratcher of the home, her mother: Francis Powell, two sons: Terry Beggs of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Wayne Bratcher and wife Heather of Conway, Arkansas, one daughter: Dixie Ivey and husband Dustin of Maumelle, Arkansas, two sisters: Mary Fuller of Earle, Arkansas, Ruby Fricke of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, four grandchildren: Austin and Kaden Beggs, Riley and Jackson Bratcher.
Funeral services will be at conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at the Thompson-Wilson Wynne Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crosslawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held, Monday evening from 6 till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
