Turkey hunters urged to speak out | Environment

If you're a turkey hunter, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission wants to hear from you.

On Tuesday, August 23, it will host several public meetings throughout the state including Jonesboro.  The meetings will begin at 7 p.m.

The purpose of the meetins is for hunters to gather information and ask questions on the proposed turkey hunting regulations for 2012.

The meeting in Jonesboro will be held at Forrest L. Wood Crowley's Ridge Nature Center, 600 E. Lawson Road.  For more information call 972-5438 or visit the AGFC's website www.agfc.com.
