Couple arrested on drug charges | Crime
A traffic stop Friday night landed a man and woman in jail on drug charges.
According a news release from the Cross County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Ronald Wilson was on patrol when he stopped a car at the intersection of Owens Street and Union Avenue.
The driver, 25-year-old Marcas Leo Gardner of Little Rock,w as reportedly driving on a suspended license.
When Deputy Wilson searched the vehicle he reportedly found methamphetamine in the form of Ice.
Deputy Wilson arrested Gardner and his passenger, 19-year-old Kendrian Shaundra Jackson of Wynne. Both were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver. Gardner was also charged with driving on a suspended license and no turn signal.
Bond was set at $25,000.
