Governor orders flags to be flown at half-staff
On Tuesday, President Obama ordered all U.S. flags be flown at half-staff as a sign of respect to those who died in the Boston Marathon bombings.
In accordance with the president’s proclamation, Governor Mike Beebe has also ordered all Arkansas State flags to be flown at half-staff until sunset Saturday, April 20.
ABC News reports three people were killed and 176 others were injured in Monday’s dual bombings at the marathon’s finish line. An 8-year-old boy was among those killed.
