In accordance with the president’s proclamation, Governor Mike Beebe has also ordered all Arkansas State flags to be flown at half-staff until sunset Saturday, April 20.

ABC News reports three people were killed and 176 others were injured in Monday’s dual bombings at the marathon’s finish line.  An 8-year-old boy was among those killed.

The National Association of Letter Carriers will hold its annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive that day.

All you will need to do is set a bag of non-perishable food next to your mailbox before your regular mail deliver.

The postal workers will do the rest.

Food collected during the drive will benefit the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas, which provides emergency food assistance to 5,100 people each week.
