The Cross County Historical Society is turning a page on the past.
The society's Cross County Commemorative & Family History is expected to arrive sometime this summer.
Project Chair Michelle Slabaugh says corrections are currently made to the proofs. Afterward, Acclaim Press will begin printing and binding the books.
The hardbound book will feature a deluxe, burgundy cover with gold stamping. It will contain more than 550 family histories, as well as a history of the county. The histories of the various communities, businesses, churches and schools in Cross County will also be included.
